Just what Nelly didn’t want for Christmas!!
Our beautiful Nelly had his routine dental done and sadly the outcome won’t be ‘routine’! Poor Nelly requires two front lower incisors to be extracted as both of the teeth are broken down and one has the pulp exposed with the other is very close to having pulp exposure. There is also a small infection, whilst we were able to drain the puss out of one site the infection will keep returning and anyone who’s had an infection behind a tooth knows how painful it can be.
Thankfully all of Nelly’s back molars are in good shape! Nelly is currently on Sulprim (antibiotics) to assist with keeping the infection at bay until he can have the extraction completed which will be next week just after Christmas and before the New Year. Sadly Nelly won’t be able to have the Christmas smorgasbord feast he was hoping for but we will have him back on his feet and happily munching on no time! This is where you come in, we need to raise $650 to cover both teeth extractions, sedatives, antibiotics, fuel travel to and from the vet clinic and follow up care to ensure that while Nelly might not have the Christmas lunch he envisaged he can welcome in 2019 feeling fresh and pain free with a brand new gummy grin!
Nelly sends a very special thank you to everyone who can help him out this close to Christmas!!
